St Joseph's Primary School caters for boys and girls from the parish of St Colmcille and surrounding areas. The present school building was opened in 1969, and is situated in the grounds of St Colmcille's Church. The school facilities include at least one computer in every classroom, a library and computer room, a fully-equipped gym, a music room, an art room and separate play areas for the Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils. Extra-curricular activities include football, badminton, choir, music club and basketball. Staff from the City of Belfast School of music provide tuition in string, brass and wind instruments.
